Thank you Claudia for the update and for your work in the site. As she said, we will try to get this running by September at some point. We will try to discuss further stuff me and her this weekened as we're both busy during week days. Hopefully we will manage to get most of the threads to the other forum with the help of other members if they can, so if anyone is interested, let us know here and we will contact you. TPF1138 is already with us I assume. Also, if anyone has any ideas for the site, share them with us please. I'm thinking of creating a couple of social media side sites with the forum so that we try to make it more visible for other fans, as this one was mostly directed at the members who came over from Jennifer's board in IMDB. So anyway, any ideas are more than welcome, any help as well.

I know, I know. The "new site" seems more mythical than real, but I can assure you all that is indeed real and almost ready to rumble! There's no rush but we are thinking that on September we will be hopefully moving to the new site. We don't have an specific date yet but will let you all know the when, where and how soon. Also, as we currently have all our threads and posts in a public server, we are not able to just pack and go, we will have to move everything on foot, just like we did when we left IMDB to the trolls. I have tried to move some of the shorter/dead threads but there are others that are too big or are constantly changing and it's almost impossible to keep with them. Hopefully that doesn't scare you all away as we will need everybody's help to complete the move. As always, the new site is going to be for the benefit of all members, so any suggestions/comments are very welcome. Have a good night! Maybe you could open it, even if incomplete, by the premier of mother! at Venice so all the red carpet, film reaction etc will baptise the thread and won't have to be moved. I've never built a site so I don't know if that is practical, but it makes sense to me! Also, can I change my name there? I still don't know what to, but the only reason I was 'trollbuster96' here where there are no trolls is that you all asked that we keep our imdb names initially so people would recognize eachother. I could keep the same avatar, at least for a while, so you'll know who I am...

A Jennifer Lawrence Community Twitter/Tumblr/Instagram feed, that tweets/posts/grams news, review quotes, interview links, and maybe the occasional link to a board discussion, if one happens to turn particularly good, or relevant. Could be quite effective at highlighting the site as the place to go to talk all things Jen Lawrence.

And there could be more than us admins running those social media accounts, so that if someone isn't available, another will cover if there are important news to share etc. Just to keep up with everything. OK Guys and Gals, I have two announcements to make. The first one is that we have asked Tony ( TPF1138) to helps us with the moderation of the site and he has agreed, so from now on He is our newest Moderator! Please help us congratulate him! The second announcement is that we have decided to move (finally!!!) to our new site. We have tried to move most of the information but as people will see, we haven't been that successful (we have too much information haha) but as the data is mostly old stuff we discussed it and decided that enough is enough and we should give the step forward so we can finally move everybody out of here. In the following days we will be inviting people in groups and giving them all the key information (logins, passwords, etc) so they can go and start going around getting comfortable with the site. Once we have most of the people out there we are going to set a date where we will stop posting anything here and will just keep it as an archive of old threads and stuff. We will of course put a banner announcing our transfer to the other site and inviting everybody to go there. I hope everybody wants to join us in the new site. We will be happy to see you there. P.S.: We will start by inviting the people that has been active the most the last 6 months but will make sure to invite every single user that has an account here.

thank you claudia and tony both for all your effort in the new forum.
as claudia said, we will try to ask every active members and show them how to join the new forum, it's gonna pretty easy.
also the content will eventually be moved slowly, especially the newest threads, etc. those that are active all the time. we will also have some modifications on the forum sections so the browsing becomes easier.

We can either just forget about trying to assign it back to the original poster, or those with the privilege can follow behind and change the ownership after it's moved. It doesn't have to be perfect, just cut and paste it all, it just has to get over there. We can clean it up later, adding the coding and whatnot. It can be like a house painting party! I think I finished moving the RS interviews thread over. Only took me a month!
